iPad: Cutting Edge Software and Technology
The iPad is sure to be a game changer in both the technology and computing worlds. Although the touch screen tablet market has existed for a while, this has focused mainly on interfacing a touch screen to an existing software system like a Microsoft OS. With the iPad, not only is the device revolutionary being a touch screen that you interact with using your fingers rather than a pointing device, but the software has been developed with this use in mind. Apple have been ingenious here, and perhaps as much out of fear of the potentially massively lucrative business market skimming over the iPad, they have come up with the iPad keyboard docking station which enables the user to attach up their iPad to a physical keyboard, and in one swoop pretty much have rendered the desktop computer useless for all but the heaviest users. 
The dock doesn’t just allow you to attach a keyboard, it also enables you to easily sync and charge you device as well as connect other iPad peripherals.
The iPad yet again shows how Apple is the master of technology, usability and out-of-the-box thinking in creating a device that is so useable, yet not overly complex. For most personal and indeed business users, the iPad offers the best possible user experience for sending short emails, viewing photos, watching movies on the go and reading eBooks. Although the heavier tech users may not quite understand what all the fuss is about with the iPad, for those people who just want an easy and hassle free way to stay connected the iPad offers them this as so much more.
